For 2010, the NSPL is running a multi-format structure to standardise the league with international play and encourage the development of the M7 multi-point format at the same time. Division One will be exclusively M7 format, a fast-paced multi-point X-Ball varient. Division Two will be a cut-down version of the M7 format called 'Race-To-2'. Divisions Three and Four will play the popular Five Man format on Millennium sized fields.
Teams will be ranked on their performance at a total of six events. Each team may play as many or as few events as they please, but results from all six events will used to decide the final end-of-season rankings.
Participation in the NSPL will also earn teams Seeding Points towards the UK's National Championships organised in partnership by the NSPL and the UK Masters. Details about the National Championships will be released as soon as they are available.
The National Championships give extra value to participating in the NSPL, which is one of just two leagues in the UK which is Sanctioned by the Federation.
With all the industry behind the Federation, this is a proud claim for the NSPL and its participating Teams, and also ensures quality and value for money as the league has to meet standards set by the Federation to earn its Sanctioned status.
